The Honor Roll recognition is awarded to students who have completed a minimum of eighteen collegiate-level hours with at least a 3.75 grade point average during the awarding term.

The Dean's List recognition is awarded to students who have completed a minimum of twelve collegiate-level hours with at least a 3.75 grade point average during the awarding term.

Senior honorees are nominated by faculty and staff, and then a selection committee chooses the honorees based on leadership, scholarship, spiritual commitment and community service. The honor is one of the most coveted among senior class members.

Samford University's 2014 Homecoming Court consists of 12 representatives elected to the court by vote of the Samford student body.

Austin Peay State University has awarded the Dean's Out-of-State Scholarship to high-achieving freshmen for the Fall 2014 semester

Austin Peay State University hosted its 85th Spring Commencement ceremony on May 9, in the campus' Dunn Center. More than 1,100 students from the College of Arts and Letters, College of Behavioral and Health Sciences, College of Business, Martha Dickerson Eriksson College of Education, College of Science and Mathematics, and School of Technology and Public Management were awarded degrees.
